EAST HARLEM TOWNHOUSE, NYC

A narrow townhouse located in a gated and private block in Harlem, this historic home needed some updates. We were able to add clean lines and masculine touches throughout to keep it simple but also elevated. The traditional white baseboards and balusters where upgrade and also painted with a bolder darker color, leaving the typical white baseboards behind. Wool handmade wall coverings were used in the Master Bedroom to add height with their vertical stitching pattern as well as creating a year round cozy space.
