UPPER WEST SIDE RESIDENCE, NYC

Our clients wanted fun and sophistication for their Upper West Side pre-war home. We took that and added color and textures throughout as well as adding back in some simple details that elevated the overall home to fit within the overall context of the neighborhood and building. Simple nods to art deco design were included such as the new moldings throughout.

This space was featured in House Beautiful.

A vintage mannequin is placed on the bedside table, and behind it hangs an oil painting of English landscapes. The walls, in muted olive green, with dark wood bookshelves, wallpapered in blue stripes, create a cozy atmosphere.
